| 12 March 2008 - GUINNESS STOREHOUSE Completes €4.5M Visitor Experience |
|
Guinness Storehouse has recently completed an investment of €4.5m aimed at enhancing the overall Guinness Storehouse visitor experience. The highlights of the development include:
- A new entrance experience, which includes window projections of life in the Guinness brewery in times gone by.
- A powerful surge projection in the atrium, which gives the visitor the impression of standing inside a massive pint of Guinness.
- A new and extended Retail Store, with the addition of a new mezzanine level, offering a wider range of exclusive Guinness branded merchandise.
- A new exit experience with motion censored Guinness pods.
This phase of development is the first of many planned at Guinness Storehouse in the coming years and follows the opening of the extended and interactive brewing and ingredients exhibition, which opened in 2006.
As Ireland’s number 1 international visitor attraction, Guinness Storehouse is committed to bringing its visitors on an enthralling and entertaining adventure, telling the story of the world famous beer. It is a dramatic story that begins almost 250 years ago and ends in Gravity Bar where visitors can savour a complimentary pint of Guinness while admiring breath-taking panoramic views of Dublin city.
