Gabriela Joyce Artwork

This illustration celebrates the vibrant spirit of St. Patrick’s Festival through the distinctive iconography of Guinness. The composition blends joyful & cheerful energy with my personal visual language, bold shapes, rhythmic patterns, and a lively, modern colour palette drawn from the brand’s core tones. The pints and the harp stand as focal points, symbolizing festivity and tradition.

Inspired by the rich history of Guinness advertising, its labels, logos, and illustrative legacy, I wanted to reinterpret these elements in a way that feels both contemporary and celebratory. The harp, long associated with Ireland’s musical heritage, represents not only the brand’s origins but also the country’s deep cultural resonance with music and storytelling. By pairing this symbol with the iconic pint, the illustration honors Guinness’s values and Irish roots while showcases the shared joy of gathering, music, and celebration that defines St. Patrick’s festivities.
