Holly Pereira
Holly Pereira is a Singaporean-Irish illustrator and muralist based in Dublin, Ireland. Through her mural work, she creates inviting environments through careful application of colour, form and design elements. Her work can be found on walls all over Ireland, and the world.
She loves lettering and typography, often combining text and image to create impactful illustrations that send a message. She is a proud member of The Minaw Collective, a mural, street art, and graffiti collective based in Ireland.
Artist Statement
This piece was created as a response to viewing the archives at Guinness Storehouse. The multiple pathways that flow from St James Gates out into the world are colourful, vibrant and full of life, just like the history and people connected with GSH and the brewery since the 1700s. Lives and stories interact alongside Irish culture at home and abroad.
