Ohhi

Ohhi creates symbolic, illustrative portraits of femme-based characters who inhabit mystical Celtic worlds. Some are rooted in ancient myths; others are born from new stories built by themselves. Each figure is ephemeral—existing somewhere between dream, memory, and spirit. Alongside character-driven works, they explore the natural realm as a manifestation of the divine feminine.

Ohhi hopes to add to the lineage of feminine-empowering painters, visualising strength, beauty, and mysticism in ways that reconnect us to art, to the earth, and to each other.

This piece visually interprets the brief “It All Flows From Here” by portraying Guinness as both origin and inspiration. The floating brewery island represents the source, with the iconic black Guinness waterfall cascading downward and flowing into the Irish landscape woven into her jacket. The stream of Guinness becomes symbolic — feeding the land, filling the glasses, and even acting as ink as she writes and illustrates the brewing recipe. The character embodies the creative spirit of Ireland and celebrates craft, culture, and the enduring flow of the “black stuff”.
