Guinness opens its gates to celebrate community with a weekend of music, food and culture

Guinness announces Lovely Days Live at the Home of Guinness inviting music lovers to step inside St. James's Gate for an unforgettable 3-day music, food and culture experience from Friday, May 23rd to Sunday, May 25th. All proceeds from ticket sales will go towards The Guinness Dublin 8 Community Fund, a commitment from Guinness and Diageo Ireland to donate €1 million over the next 5 years to vital resources to champion projects across education, sustainability and community enhancement initiatives.  

 

Lovely Days Live at the Home of Guinness will take place over three days at the Home of Guinness, with more than 7,000 people walking through the iconic Guinness gates as the brewery is transformed for the ultimate cultural experience. Set to be one of the highlights of summer, guests can expect a lineup of Ireland's hottest musical talent alongside global sensations, celebrating the unique and vibrant spirit of Dublin 8.  

 

The first show, announced for Sunday, May 25th welcomes Fontaines D.C. and Lankum for an incredible celebration of contemporary Irish music as both bands return to Dublin, the city where it all began, and take to the stage on the grounds of St James’s Gate. The line-up for Saturday, May 24th has now been confirmed, with one of Ireland’s most exciting singer-songwriters, CMAT, taking to the stage on the grounds of the historic Guinness brewery, along with Morgana and Irish trad supergroup BIIRD. These ticket ballots are now closed.

 

The final act has now been revealed, with Scottish DJ Barry Can't Swim making his triumphant return to Guinness for a performance on Friday, May 23rd, supported by Jyoty.

HOW TO GET TICKETS

Tickets will be allocated through a ballot system, allowing people to apply at any time during the ballot window. The ballot for Fontaines D.C. and CMAT are now closed, and successful applicants have been notified. 

Tickets for Barry Can't Swim will be priced at €39.50, with the ballot opening at 12pm on April 30th. The ballot will close on Friday, May 2nd at 2pm. 

All ticket proceeds go to The Guinness Dublin 8 Community Projects, supporting the local community. This fund, created in consultation with the Dublin 8 community, aims to address local needs by supporting projects focused on community, sustainability, and education. 

Please note that not all ticket ballot entries will be successful, as this is a limited capacity event.

BARRY CAN'T SWIM: MAY 23, 2025

Scottish electronic music producer and DJ, Barry Can’t Swim, has been announced for Friday, May 23rd, kicking off an incredible weekend of music in the iconic Guinness brewery. His opening night set will mark a welcome return to Dublin following his electric sunrise set in the Guinness Storehouse last year to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. Barry Can’t Swim will be supported by Jyoty.

CMAT: MAY 24 2025

The line-up for Saturday, May 24th has now been confirmed, with one of Ireland’s most exciting singer-songwriters, CMAT, taking to the stage on the grounds of the historic Guinness brewery, along with Morgana and Irish trad supergroup BIIRD. CMAT is set to have an incredible year, as she embarks on a major tour and releases her highly anticipated third album, EURO-COUNTRY, in August. This ballot is now closed.

For the first show announced for Sunday May 25th, we welcome Fontaines D.C. & Lankum for an incredible celebration of contemporary Irish music as both bands return to Dublin, the city where it all began, and take to the stage on the grounds of St James Gate. This St. Patrick's Day, get ready for a gig of a lifetime! Joy Anonymous will perform a two-hour set with ‘anonymous’ support acts from the Irish music scene to ring in St. Patrick’s Day at the Gravity bar, as fans take in breathtaking views of the city on Sunday 16th March. CULTURE NIGHT - A GUINNESS STOREHOUSE SYMPHONY: SEPTEMBER 20, 2024

The Guinness Storehouse is celebrating Culture Night with a live performance from Dublin-based music ensemble Glasshouse, featuring special guests Gemma Dunleavy, Toshín, Qbanna, Faye O’Rourke, and Jessie Thompson. Following in the footsteps of Biig Piig this summer at the Guinness Storehouse is one of the world’s most acclaimed electronic music producers and DJs, Armand Van Helden, who is also be making his debut at the Gravity Bar on July 18. Few dance music producers in any genre have had the staying power of Van Helden. His club anthems like You Don’t Know Me and My, My, My have crossed over into the mainstream.

BIIG PIIG & FRIENDS: JUNE 20, 2024

The Guinness Storehouse is thrilled to welcome one of the most unique pop stars of the modern era, Biig Piig, to headline our summer launch on June 20. The Irish-born singer and rapper is building an international fanbase with her magnetic songs that reflect the dynamism of youth culture. Biig Piig has bounced between genres and tales. BICEP: JUNE 21, 2023

Hot on the heels of Dermot Kennedy’s recent performance, on June 21, Bicep will continue the series of incredible ticketed live music shows taking place across summer at the Guinness Storehouse. The duo have built a global reputation as one of the biggest names in underground and mainstream dance music with an avid following worldwide.
