Can you eat at the Guinness Storehouse?

You already know we’ve got the pints on tap, and that of course a visit here means a guaranteed perfect pour. Whether it’s your post-tour pint in one of Dublin’s best rooftop bars the Gravity Bar while you enjoy panoramas of the city or in one of our other bars here on site, you’re getting Dublin’s finest right at the source. But while the pints you can predict, you might not be aware of the plethora of plates on offer here at the Storehouse too.

Here’s a rundown of the exceptional eating you can enjoy, right here at the brewery.

Roasthouse

Like how that aroma of roasting barley and hops reaches your nose the closer you get to us here at the Guinness Storehouse, so will the smell of roasted coffee beans hit you as soon as you reach the first floor of the Storehouse. That’s from the Roasthouse which is our beloved Storehouse cafe, open from 10am to 5pm every day. Here you can enjoy a pre-tour breakfast, a mid-tour snack and coffee, or a post-tour lunch.

With everything from glossy, delicious pastries or a beautifully crafted Guinness sausage roll (trust us on this one) with a tangy, sweet tomato relish to freshly made sandwiches or Irish jambons, you’ve got a fantastic selection of lovely snacks and meals to choose from, with lots of options for vegetarians and vegans too. Perfect for a quick pit stop as you make your way round the building.

Market Street

Step into Market Street, our open kitchen concept that makes for a bustling, vibrant, cosy and casual dining experience. Here you can order a hearty breakfast that’s pure Dublin - the classic Liberties-loved breakfast of ‘guggy eggs’. For lunch or dinner, you’ll find anything from pizza to beer battered haddock, with a varied menu that’s heavily inspired by local legends and infused with brewery flavours: Hop House 13 kimchi or Guinness-braised short rib anyone?

Arthur's Bar

Downstairs from the Gravity Bar, and super convenient as a next stop after your post-tour pint, Arthur’s Bar is a modern bar with slick industrial vibes and wonderful views across Dublin City. If you’ve toured the brewery and have been sampling the pints and panoramas in the Gravity Bar afterwards, you may be starting to feel a bit peckish - that’s what Arthur’s Bar was made for.

Hearty portions of great, Guinness inspired food in casual but classy surroundings, and without even having to leave the building. Some of the stars of the show here are the cockles and mussels (alive alive oh) with Guinness cream, the beef and Guinness pie, and the infamous Guinness Beef Burger.

Arthur’s is open from 12pm to 6pm every day, and is walk in only.

1837 Bar & Brasserie

And finally, our full service brasserie which is named after the year when the beautiful relationship between oysters and Guinness was officially recognised – by British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, of all people! In November of that year, after sampling the shellfish with some stout, he said that he had just had “the most remarkable day hitherto of my life”.

With that nod to the history of a good meal with a great pint, 1837 has a menu that honours the best of Irish produce and our rich culinary culture and history. From fabulous fresh fish to thick, juicy steaks and signature beef and Guinness stew, the menu here will have you spoiled for choice.

A real favourite here is the oyster and Guinness pairing. You can get three, six, nine (or more) juicy fresh oysters paired with Guinness extra stout, to experience the now world-famous flavour combination! You can book a table at 1837 here.

Bon appetit!
