Other Voices: Home at the Guinness Storehouse Returns for its Fifth Encore

This year an enchanting lineup of Ireland’s best musical talent is set to take to the stage at the annual Other Voices concert at the Home of Guinness for a night to remember.

Other Voices has long been a beloved addition to the Irish musical calendar offering audiences the chance to come together and connect in intimate venues that echo with spellbinding performances. The annual winter festival has seen Grammy winners and Glastonbury headliners share the stage with new talent for performances that reach across time, borders and divides to ignite the flames of creativity. From St. James’ Church in Dingle to the Home of Guinness in St. James’ Gate, artists from near and far travel across Ireland to engage in the celebration of music and creativity.

Last year’s instalment of Other Voices: Home at the Guinness Storehouse saw a magical evening descend on St. James’ Gate where audiences gathered for lively and captivating sets from The Streets, The Bonnymen and R&B vocalist and songwriter, Mahalia among many others. This year’s event promises an equally enthralling night of entertainment poised to kick off the festive season.

The very best of Irish talent will take to the stage of St. James’ Gate on November 13th this year for an evening featuring some of the country’s leading voices including The Mary Wallopers, Just Mustard, Tolü Makay, SOAK, Pádraic Keane and Niamh Regan. Staying true to the concert series' values of championing both new and established talent, while bringing together a diverse range of genres, styles, and people, this year’s lineup sees Uilleann pipes blend seamlessly with pop soul and rock for a unique evening suited to all tastes.

Once again, the event promises to enthral audiences near and far with a livestream of the event available for fans across the globe. Speaking about the event Philip King, the founder of Other Voices, said “we are delighted to be able to collapse distance and bring everyone together for this wonderful occasion, and it’s just great that this year an exclusively Irish line-up will take to the stage at the home of Guinness in the heart of the Liberties”.

Bringing together communities and highlighting the best of homegrown talent, Other Voices has become a trusted space for acts to unleash the full force of their creativity and create a rapport with audiences just as passionate about music as they are.

Similarly, Catherine Toolan, Managing Director of Diageo Irish Brand Homes, remarked: “The fifth instalment of Other Voices: Home at the Guinness Storehouse celebrates and offers a platform for existing and emerging talent shaping not just the Irish music world but the global music world too. The night will be a place for people to connect over shared passion for music and spoken word no matter where they are”.

The livestream will be available here and on the Guinness Storehouse and Other Voices social media channels beginning at 7.30pm.

A limited number of free tickets for the event will be available on Tuesday 29th October at 12pm here.
